It never ends, this testing.

Testing for safety.

Testing to unfold. To blossom into ever deeper and richer and more beautiful vulnerability.

Always, this invitation to step further into the tenderness of who I am.

I am blessed, to know this about my beloved: her inscrutability is the labyrinthine path to my greatness. (She gives me so much opportunity to become myself!)

It is only through the trials of this apprenticeship that I know the man that I am. It is a crystalline clarity. Like a diamond.

The awareness of myself as beautiful and powerful owes itself to my awareness of this moment. Specifically: my awareness of how the tensions, pressures, stresses, and frictions of this life are my practice. They shape me. They give me back to myself, and to the the ones I love. And I am grateful.
