Daily Meditation, Inspirations, and Practices for the Sacred Masculine, March 7

  • My practice: 5:30am: 45 minutes of yogic practice, including Meditation for Purifying the Elements
  • My vulnerability practice: I’m wandering, not lost, but not feeling the need for direction or purpose beyond this wandering…

VIDEOMen, How long do you wait?

Can you feel it? I can. So near.

In my yearning, I know its presence. Yet, in my yearning I deny its presence. The ocean of love that moves through me & around me, touching me & everyone & everything —and still, it ebbs as I reach out to take it into my grasp. Not to be held, tightly.

There is a sweetness to solitude: I am less tempted to interrupt Her flow in any significant way, and when I do stumble, when I grasp for what I want, making many, many mistakes —they are mine to make, and the consequences mine alone to enjoy. Yes, “enjoy.” Because here, in my solitude, no other hearts are broken as I, by necessity, break myself again & again on these shores.

She did not want to know herself as my Siren. Did not want to feel the weight of my breaking.

But I insisted. And insisted also that I am glad of it. How else would I know this infinite experience? How else but to be dashed on the rocks of my wilful ignorance, her need, her beauty, her love? How else?

Do you know this ocean, its shores? A little bit, perhaps? More than that, I’m sure. You know this ocean and its heart-breaking shores enough that you are frightened to sail again. Am I right? Or, perhaps you’re already sailing. But adrift. And afraid to commit to anything more than drifting? I know that weakness, that fear.

Who sings you to your rough encounter with yourself? Your fears? Your desires? Your deep yearning for everything that you don’t think you already have?

Do you know who sings this song?

Are you listening?

Or are your ears stopped, content to drift? Or to stand on the edge of this ocean, just beyond the reach of Her tides?

It’s all here. Love. Beauty. The unimaginable, just beyond my imagining.

Am I willing to be broken open, that I may know my destiny, may know her treasures & her gifts for me?

Yearning, yes. Willing…? Less so.

It seems I cannot but hear her Siren song. I am called to obliteration.

We will see what comes of it…
